The problem of testing random number generators is considered and it is shown that an approach based on algorithmic information theory allows us to compare the power of different tests in some cases where the available methods of mathematical statistics do not distinguish between the tests. I've put up a page about Weird Pride Day for schools. It's probably a bit late for this year - it's in two weeks' time - but I figured it was better to have something there than not!
Among other things, it's got a short list of books with #WeirdPride themes.
